On Tuesday 4/5, the Makerspace will host an Open House between 10am-4pm. The first week of April is National Library Week and there will be events throughout the week following this year's theme: Connect with your Library. Here in the Makerspace, we're adapting the theme for ourselves to Literally Connect with your Library. Throughout the day, we'll be demonstrating all the ways you can connect your course work and personal passions/hobbies to the Makerspace with our 3D printers, laser cutter/etcher, VR capabilities, and our new Cricut Maker. We'll also be making paper circuit crafts which you can make with us or take to make later!
And then, from 2-4pm we are so excited to collaborate with SGA and 4Paws for a Puppies & Paint event! There will be cute doggos to hang out with and small watercolor projects to make. Unfortunately, we've had to postpone the puppy portion of the day BUT we'll still have plenty of fun activities for you to do to destress!
We can't wait to celebrate the Xavier Library and Makerspace with you in April! Follow along on Twitter and Instagram #connectwithxulibrary
