Welcome to the Xavier University Library Makerspace!
The Xavier University Library Makerspace is available to all students, faculty, and staff - whether for class or personal projects!
The Makerspace is a creative, dynamic space where people invent, build, and learn. Through generous grants from SWON and the Xavier University Women of Excellence, the makerspace opened in the spring of 2016 and was the first academic makerspace in the region.
With all sorts of technology and tools including 3D printers, a laser etcher, Cricut Maker, heat presses, sewing and embroidery machine, Raspberry Pis, Ozobots, Spheros, and more, students, faculty, and staff can make and create.
Fall 2024 Semester Hours:
Monday: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10am - 5pm
Wednesday: 12pm - 5pm
Thursday: 10am - 5pm
Friday: 10am - 5pm
Located on the first floor of McDonald Library, the Makerspace offers individualized assistance with all of the resources we offer. Although we welcome drop-ins during open hours, a reservation is strongly recommended. Reserve your time HERE.

After the above limits are reached, the following pricing structure goes into effect for personal projects (class projects are always free with proof of assignment):
