As part of a unique affiliation between Xavier University and TriHealth, Xavier University offers the Health United Building (HUB), a state-of-the-art campus facility that celebrates health and wellness as an expression of Xavier’s Jesuit Catholic educational mission and foundational value of care of the whole person ( cura personalis). Xavier also offers other resources that will help students maintain and improve their overall health.

Provided by TriHealth professionals including Board Certified physicians and nurse practitioners experienced in collegiate health. TriHealth is among the best health-care providers in our region and will provide top-quality care and resources.
In order to access health services on campus, Xavier students are required to use their health insurance. ALL students are welcome to be seen here, but please consult your insurance plan to see if our offices are considered in-network with your plan.
TAO Self-Help
Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) is a completely private online library of behavioral health resources that includes interactive educational modules and practice tools to help you understand and manage how you feel, think and act. You can learn stress management, mindfulness skills, problem-solving, relationship skills and strategies to avoid dwelling on your concerns and to develop more helpful thinking patterns.
TAO Self-Help is exclusively licensed on our campus. There is no cost to you… and you can do this on your own. You will only be able to access this using your Xavier email account.
Campus Mental Health Resources
Counseling Services (click for info)
Provided by Xavier University. The clinical psychologists and counselors on staff at Xavier Counseling Services are licensed in the state of Ohio. The staff also includes a board-certified consulting psychiatrist for you if you need medication or hospitalization. Free of charge, students can benefit from the same quality of service that's available in a private practice. We also understand that this is a trying time for all. Counseling Services is still up and running, and we have new arrangements that allow us to meet with any interested Xavier Student via HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing (teletherapy). Students who wish to get connected with a therapist should call 513-745-3022, option 2, for more information.
Psychological Services Center (click for info)
Provides an on-campus center where Department of Psychology faculty, students, and staff apply principles of psychology to address the concerns of others. We are continuing to provide services via telehealth. People in ongoing services can be in touch with their provider about establishing plans for these services. People wishing to initiate new services can call 513-745-3531 to do so.
NEW Xavier Therapy Online - 24/7 Mental Health For Students (Click for info)
Xavier Therapy Online provides mental telehealth care to Xavier University students from anywhere in the United States Nov. 24 through Jan. 19.

Recreational Sports emphasizes belonging, leadership and wellbeing while providing the Xavier students and community with the finest programs, services, facilities and equipment with a goal to support and foster a lifelong appreciation of body, mind and spirit. Recreational Sports includes Group Fitness, e-sports, Personal Training, Intramural Sports and more.
Student Help Groups
Xavier offers student support groups that deal with grief, anxiety, sexual assault, recovery.
Care Management Services
The area of Care Management in the Dean of Students Office provides support to students experiences a broad spectrum of challenges, connections to appropriate campus and community resources, promotes growth in self-advocacy, and empowers students to navigate their own solutions and shape their own lives. The Director of Care Management and Care Management Coordinator work collaboratively across the institution to develop support plans that provide a caring and seamless student learning experience. What Is Crisis Text Line? Crisis Text Line provides support at your fingertips, 24/7. It is a free, confidential service available via text on mobile devices. Crisis Text Line is more than just a suicide prevention service, it’s a way for anyone to be helped through a difficult moment via a texting conversation--no matter how big or small the crisis may seem. By texting the keyword “4hope” to the number 741741, anyone can text with a trained Crisis Counselor and receive assistance. Crisis Text Line is another tool in the toolbox and another addition to the options available through current community crisis hotlines.
