The Basics
Often, when we talk about plagiarism, we think in binary terms, a yes/no, either/or act.
Take this chart, for instance:
•Either the words are yours or not.
•Either the quotes are cited or not.
This is not wrong, but citing sources is more complicated than this simple chart.
