Hello! I'm Julia Cardinal, and I am the library liaison to the Williams College of Business. I am available to support your research as you complete your degree program. My contact information is listed on the left and can also be found on the University Library's Ask a Librarian page. Review the above tabs to help you get started with research, see available databases, and find additional research guides by topic.
There are many library resources available to support your research including databases, books, and journals. The following tutorials will help you get started with searching some of the most frequently used content. If you would like additional information about any resource, please contact me.
Use Business Source Complete to search for company and industry information, including peer-reviewed (scholarly) publications.
Use Gale Business: Insights to find company and industry information including SWOT analyses, market share reports, and industry essays.
Use DemographicsNow to find detailed demographic data by location. This resource can also be used to find companies by location.
As a Xavier student, you are eligible for a personal New York Times account through the library. Read this short tutorial to find out how to create your account.
In addition, University Library provides access to many relevant publications such as The Economist and Wall Street Journal. To find journals by title, from the library's website, click on the Journals button and type in the name of the journal or newspaper:
