Access Information - New York Times online: Home

The New York Times

Active account holders, navigate directly to nytimes.com to access your subscription.

To create a new account or to renew an existing account, please use the following instructions:

Create a New Account

Renew an Existing Account
  1. Navigate to accessnyt.com
  2. Search for Xavier University - Cincinnati, OH.
  3. Select if you are on or off campus. You will be redirected to the NYT welcome page.
  4. Click "Create Account” and complete registration fields. When creating an account, use your Xavier email address.

Once completed, you may navigate directly to nytimes.com from any web-enabled device, including your smart phone (app. available for Android and IOS).
  1. Navigate to accessnyt.com
  2. Search for Xavier University - Cincinnati, OH.
  3. Select if you are on or off campus. You will be redirected to the NYT welcome page.
  4. Click "Already have an account? Log in here".
  5. Log in with your existing NYT username and password.

Once completed, your digital access will be restored and you can navigate directly to nytimes.com  from any web- enabled device, including your smart phone.

NOTE: Faculty & staff will need to renew their subscription once every four years. Students will have access until they graduate.
