NURS-370 Introduction to Nursing Research

A course guide to accompany the classroom presentation.

Research Databases are collections of items such as journal articles, books, encyclopedia articles, videos, music, or other documents. Most of these can be found in AllForOne Search, but searching individual databases can often be helpful because they are more focused or have useful tools.

Nursing research databases have added functions to make filtering simpler for finding systematic reviews, evidence-based practice, randomized controlled trials, clinical queries, and citation indexing.

*These collections do not provide citations/indexing to AllForOne Search, so you are unable to filter by these databases in AllForOne Search Refine Results. However, records for these databases are included in other ways that make the resources searchable in AllForOne Search. The Full Text Finder will connect you to resources from these databases. Note that AllForOne Search only receives updates from these databases about once per month, so the most recent additions to these databases may NOT be in AllForOne Search yet
