Trial: CDC Dataset

Trial Access: CDC PLACES

Xavier has trial access to the CDC PLACES dataset from 7/30/2025 to 9/2/2025.

CDC PLACES provides 27 diverse health measures for every county, city, and census tract in the United States and include Health Outcomes (13), Prevention (9), Health Risk Behaviors (4), and Health Status (3) including SimplyAnalytics 2021 current estimates. The estimates span a range of chronic disease measures, including health outcomes (e.g., prevalence of cancer, poor mental health), unhealthy behaviors (e.g., smoking or sleeping less than seven hours), and prevention practices (e.g., cervical cancer screening, dentist visits) that have a substantial impact on how well and long people live.

CDC PLACES Local Health Data provides model-based population-level analysis and community estimates to all counties, places (incorporated and census designated places), census tracts, and ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) across the United States.
