Road Through Library Research: First Stop: Scholarly Articles

Scholarly Articles

Scholarly or peer-reviewed articles are articles that are reviewed by experts in the particular field that is being written about before they are published. They are academic in nature and aimed at researchers in a specific field. The opposite of scholarly journals are popular magazines, which have articles written about general topics and usually are not reviewed by experts before publication.
