| The King Studios’ Traveling Suitcases are educational toolkits that use replica artifacts, technology and lesson plans to tell King Records’ story through art, music, entrepreneurship, civil rights and science. Our unique Suitcases pay tribute to the traveling musicians that cultivated King's musical and historical legacy throughout the world with a "suitcase" in hand, and are designed for educational use in K-12 classrooms. Suitcases and lesson plans will be available for free to regional educators beginning in Fall 2016 thanks to the generosity of the Elsa Heisel-Sule and Dater Foundations who have fully funded this innovative project, and the contributions of Tim Riordan and King Studios that funded initial prototype development. |
