Trip Location Information for AB Site Leaders: Washington, D.C.

This LibGuide is organized by trip location for use by current AB Site Leaders. Within each location tab, SL's will find ideas for activities to do and places to go with their trip group during free time.

Free Time Ideas

1) Sculpture Garden: centrally located in the National Mall, the garden is designed to offer year-round enjoyment and entertainment to the public. It is a nice spot for your group to take a break and maybe get a bite to eat while taking in the sites of the city. 

2) National Museum of American History: devoted to the scientific, cultural, social, technological, and political development of the US, this museum traces America from colonial times to the present. It contains more than three million historical objects and documents that serve as a way to preserve our history. The museum is open from 10am to 5:30pm daily and admission is free.
