Background

Apple introcuded the iPhone and iTouch in 2007.  More than 3 billion apps have been downloaded as of Jan 2010.

 

The District of Columbia Public Library 1st to develop an iPhone apps.  Users can search the catalog, place holds, check hours and find phone numbers.
